REDLANDS, CA – NetWaiter has released a new feature aimed at helping restaurants increase their online ordering frequency and encourages visitors to become loyal customers.

NetWaiter restaurants can now create individualized promotions that have an expiration date tied to a customer’s last order. For instance, customers can be offered a 10% discount on their next order, if they order again within three days. Any type of promotion can be created, with any expiration period.

In addition, these promotions can be included in a customer’s order confirmation email and distributed through the restaurant’s marketing platform, posting the promotion on the restaurant’s NetWaiter site, social media sites, and the NetWaiter Network – NetWaiter’s new customer-centric restaurant platform.

A recent Harvard study of the restaurant industry revealed that if you can increase the number of repeat customers by 5%, you can increase profits by 25% to 125%.

“Repeat customers are important and these tools can significantly help restaurants increase the frequency of returning customers and attract new ones,” said David Liebers, a Lead Developer at NetWaiter.

“We have some clients that permanently offer their online ordering customers discounts, because it’s much better to reward customers to order directly with them than pay the huge fees they incur with portals like GrubHub,” Liebers added.

This new feature is immediately available to restaurants using the NetWaiter system and promotions can be configured with the NetWaiter Management Console.

NetWaiter provides restaurants across the country fully branded online ordering systems, allowing customers to order takeout and delivery from any web-enabled device. Additionally, NetWaiter operates theNetWaiter Network, a site for visitors to view local restaurant info, find locations that deliver to them, and get updates from their favorite places.
